1. Musical Talent. DougieFree has received formal training and performed as a vocalist/musician since a very early age. He has a wide vocal range and the courage to use it. Self accompanied on the acoustic guitar and harmonica, he provides a diverse listening experience..

2. Diverse Repertoire. A DougieFree set list most often consists of singer-songwriter covers - a good many of which you probably have not heard. Styles range greatly and cover everything from bluegrass, country, rock classics, and pop favorites.

3. Audience Engagement. Getting and keeping the audience involved is an aspect of performing that sets DougieFree apart from many others. Listeners are entertained with stories about the songs he sings and Dougie’s perspective on lyrics. The audience is invited and encouraged to make requests, sing along and/or come on stage!
